Zipper pouches are a must have item in girls’ closets. It is used to store and organize so many items from toiletries, cosmetics, medicines and so much more. In this tutorial I have come up with a cute little design for you all. It’s a semi circle pouch or a half moon zipper pouch. The size is perfect to store cosmetics, medicines, money, or even stationary. The pouch is fully lined with no raw edges exposed.

I will rate the tutorial level as medium

Below you can see some of the pictures of the pouch.

The fabric I have used for crafting and sewing this pouch is cotton and sewing machine is Singer Tradition 2263.

I have used a newspaper print for the outside fabric and a buffalo check print on the inside.

I have used very lightweight fusible interfacing on the backside of both outer and lining fabric to give a neat stitch. This is however completely optional.

To sew the pouch I have used the following material:

  • 26cm x 20cm (2 main fabric)
  • 26cm x 20cm (2 lining or contrast fabric)
  • 4 fusible interfacing cut to the template
  • Zipper: 20cm

You can download the template from below.

Have fun sewing.
