Crossbody bags are great for everyday use. Easy to carry and chic to look. If crossbody bag has a lot of pockets, it becomes an additional bonus.
This is exactly what this bag is, it is a crossbody bag with pockets. It can be used as an organizer as well. Place it on your study area or carry it around, it is multi purpose.
Main size of the final bag is:
- Height: 18cm
- Width: 28cm
- Depth: 8cm
The fabric I have used to craft this crossbody bag is canvas. I have quilted the main body of the outer bag with polyester as a base. With all other fabrics included the one for inner bag body I have fused the lightweight interfacing to the backside. It help with a neat stitch and precise measure cut.
Inner body of the bag has 5 slip pockets, 2 on one side and 2 on the other side.
The outer backside has 3 pockets and outer front size has 6 pockets in total.
All the fabrics and their measurements are mentioned in the video.
To cut the main body of bag, you will need to download the pattern from above and tape together the pattern.
Follow the following steps to create the final patterns.
- Cut out the two pattern A and B on separate papers.
- Attach A to B at the arrows.
- Draw a similar pattern to AB attached and and tape it to the left of AB.
- You will now have the top part of pattern complete.
- Trace the upper part of pattern as it is. Cut it out.
- Tape the new one to bottom of the pattern.
- You have your pattern ready.
Note:
