Tote bags never go out of style. They are fun to carry and spacious enough to carry it to your office, university or college. The tutorial I am sharing with you all is the tutorial for a spacious one main pocket tote bag with a zipper.
I have added two pockets on the side so that it can be used to carry some extra water bottles or used as a baby bag as well. What better is a tote bag that can serve multiple purposes.
The bag has two attached handles to carry it by hand as well as a place to attach or detach removeable straps as well. You can found a tutorial on how to make an adjustable and removeable strap from my blog or YouTube channel as well.

The material I have used to sew this tote bag is polyester canvas which is semi waterproof and make a great fabric of choice for canvas tote bags. The small straps are of nylon webbing. I have used lightweight fusible interfacing for the lining and pockets and heavy fusible interfacing for the outer fabric of bag.

The requirements and measurements of the bag are as follows:
- Main Fabric: 26cm x 30cm (4 fabrics, 2 for lining and 2 for outer body)
- Side Fabrics: 16cm x 26cm (4 fabrics. 2 for lining and 2 for outer body)
- Bottom Fabric: 16cm x 30cm (2 fabric, 1 for lining and 1 for main)
- Side pockets: 20cm x 21cm (4 fabrics)
- Recessed Zips: 7cm x 32cm (4 fabrics, 2 for lining and 2 for main)
- Nylon Zip: 32cm
- 2 D rings
- D ring fabric: 5cm x 8cm (x2)
